The
Sylvania Camp Quality 1000 K's 4 Kids
charity bicycle ride will be commencing from Ipswich, Queensland, on Friday 7th September. 30 riders and 15 support crew will cover 1,000 kilometres in ten days - All with the one mission to raise awareness about the services of
Camp Quality
, and to raise funds to enable Camp Quality to continue to provide Camps and Fun Therapy activities to the inspirational kids and families they support.
Three of the riders have had a comprehensive
Body Geometry FIT
with our Technician Wade Budden, compliments of DRIFT BIKES, to ensure they are in their most natural riding position and can enjoy the journey in comfort.
The group is hoping to raise $150,000 in order to fund end of year Junior and Senior Camps for the inspirational kids of Camp Quality. Help out the kids if you can by sponsoring
Ali Kimmorley
,
Craig Kimmorley
or
Les Binkin
.
Along the way, the riders will be visiting schools to educate students about the work of Camp Quality, and will be calling on each community to get involved by helping with their fundraising efforts. The ride will pass through Toowoomba, Warwick, Tenterfield, Glen Innes, Uralla, Tamworth, Gunnedah, Murrurundi, Singleton, and finish in Newcastle.
Wade will be riding with the group from Singleton into Newcastle on Sunday 16th September... Coz he's just that kinda guy!
We wish these inspirational riders and their support crew all the best for a safe and joyful ride. Let's help them reach their fundraising target. Come on, it's for the kids!
