As an extremely lightweight tyre with limited puncture protection, the MAXXIS HIGH ROAD SL is recommended for race use only. It’s designed to be fast, not to last. The MAXXIS HIGH ROAD SL is suitable for racing time trials, on the velodrome, or any situation where a rider wants the lightest setup possible

The new Maxxis MAXXIS HIGH ROAD SL uses our lightest, most supple 170 TPI casing. With remarkable bump absorption from the flexible casing, riders will experience more comfort and control.
K2 Protection
A lightweight, high-performance tyre needs an equally light and high-performing puncture protection layer. For the MAXXIS HIGH ROAD SL we chose our exclusive K2 material that ensures ride quality and performance remain unsurpassed. K2 is used as a breaker – situated underneath the tread – on the MAXXIS HIGH ROAD SL.
HYPR-S Compound
The MAXXIS HIGH ROAD SL is the first Maxxis tyre to use our new HYPR-S compound. Building on the success of the HYPR compound which debuted on the original MAXXIS HIGH ROAD, the new HYPR-S compound retains exceptional grip while decreasing rolling resistance by 12%.
