The XCX family of retention systems was designed with the XC racer and trail rider in mind. All XCX use our DH proven Lg1+ upper slider; the lower slider is nixed in exchange for simplicity, less drag and weight savings. The seat tube mount version of the guide offers the greatest amount of chainline adjustment via an easy to adjust cam that also adapts the guide to different seat tube sizes. A 6061-T6 aluminum back plate makes the guide stiff in all the right places without sacrificing resulting in a guide that is as much at home going up as going down.
