Saturday 8th - 'Bring a friend' ride.
Gun club Rd Gates at 2pm finish by 4.30pm at the latest.
This is a beginners ride for Women only. Designed for those who wish to encourage friends to ride or who have friends who might be just starting out in Mountain Biking.
Sunday 9th - Beginner Adventure ride
This ride aims to take a detour from the usual Glenrock loop exploring some alternate trails in the area and for a slightly longer duration.
Meet at 9am Burwood rd carpark near Fernleigh track crossing to do southside of Glenrock. Duration - 3hrs

Hosted by Joanne Nelson, Drift Bikes very own Fairy Godmother, the rides are designed to give first timers and beginners a chance to get their wheels dirty in a pressure free environment.
So ladies, if you or the lady in your life is interested in the world of mountain biking then these are the rides you're looking for. Further more if you don't have a friend to bring a long and are just wanting to have a cruisey ride then you are also most welcome to join us. Chances are that you might make some new friends anyway.
Registration is free but essential.

Ride requirements are as follows:
- Helmet is Compulsory
- Bring WATER (you will get thirsty, you will probably sweat and double it if it's a hot day.)
- Bring a snack ( a muesli bar, energy gel or piece of fruit cake never goes astray when riding for a couple of hours)
- Have your bike checked over ( to avoid hassles on the trail and cutting into yours and others ride time, drop into Drift and have an experienced eye look over your bike for trail worthiness. We know from experience that there's no worse feeling than turning up to a ride and then having your bike let you down because you weren't prepared)
