Until recent times bikepacking has lived in a somewhat small corner of the cycling world. It has evolved over the years from the grand touring rigs of solar panel laden bob trailers or as little as the humble backpack to become something more conforming to the bike, functional and minimal favored by the mountain biker, gravel grinder or adventure road cyclist alike. As the word is spreading and with the "find and seek" temperament of our generation ever growing, bikepacking is becoming more main stream and recognised as a cycling past time than ever before.

This year Specialized has launched an attempt to hit into the market with their own breed of bikepacking equipment, the Burra Burra bike range which takes inspiration from across the scene and applies a more cookie cutter approach to their fitment.
We are excited to have some of these bags to try. Josh & Aaron will be posting more from their overland adventures in the coming weeks. Bringing out a few different volume sizes, at first glance they look tough and don't fit too badly to the bikes we aim to travel with but time will tell how they perform in the real world.
