Do I need to leave my bike with Drift Bikes at the time of assessment?
You will only need to leave your bike with Drift Bikes if you are unable to wait whilst your bike is assessed or if suspension items are required to be sent away for service.
How long will the assessment take?
An accurate assessment of your bike will generally take 15-30 minutes depending on condition.
When do i drop my bike off for its service?
Your bike needs to be dropped into Drift Bikes any day prior to your Service booking date or at 10am on the day of your booking.
Is there any guarantee for service work completed by Drift Bikes?
YES. All repairs are covered by a 90 Day Workmanship Guarantee
What does a Premium Service include?
Wipe down frame with frame polish and inspect for frame damage / cracks
Check frame pivots and shock bolts
Remove cassette from rear wheel
Degrease drive chain (crankset, chain, cassette and derailleurs)
Clean and re-grease bottom bracket
Re-fit cranks and tighten crank bolts
Tighten chainring bolts
Check and adjust hub bearings / cones
True and tension wheels in wheel jig
Inflate tyres - Check Sealant
Check, tighten and align derailleur hanger
Check front derailleur height and alignment
Re-grease / service headset
Check and align stem, handlebars, levers and grips
Lube all cables and derailleur pivots
Check brake pad wear
Does a Premium Service cover the fitting of new parts?
Absolutely. The only thing a premium service does not cover in respect to parts is rebuilding of suspension items and wheels.
