It would be great to say it's been an easy eleven years but we wouldn't be here without a lot of hard work, blood, sweat and tears by all of our amazing team here at DRIFT BIKES. It sure has been memorable to say the least. There's been floods, shipwrecks, GFC's, KFC, thieves, magazines, race teams, we've rubbed shoulders with cycling legends, been on countless mega rides, camping adventures, tripped to foreign lands in search of the perfect trail, and always ensured we had great coffee along the way. We've said farewell to work mates who became great friends, then welcomed even more good friends into the Drift Bikes family.
Above all else we wouldn't be where we are without you! As the years have gone by our riding family has grown and even when life takes over and riding time diminishes and years later you decide to make a come back and stroll through the door, we are so happy we can be here to help reignite that flame and share stories of days gone by, who's had kids,etc and get you up to speed on the latest gear to get you running again and keep you running.
This is a photo of the very first bike we ever sold through our doors at our King St store back in 2003. It was purchased by long time customer and mad frother Conrad Turnbull who is still getting sideways in the dirt these days but now on his Specialized Camber Expert. It's guys like Conrad that keep us going knowing that everything we do for him is reflected back as a huge smile and a massive F#$K Yeah!!!
Every time you come to our store know that you are doing more than spending money on new bike stuff, you are helping to invest in your local riding community's growth and a family business that has bicycles at their heart.
