Loaf to Lagoon Social Adventure

A day to remember, riding between two Newcastle Icons, Mt Sugarloaf and Glenrock lagoon, via some of the best singletrack imaginable - including the MTB meccas of Killingworth, Warners Bay and Glenrock. Cock-eyed optimist, Adam Freeman, will take you on the best trails, while his expert knowledge of local history* should also be a highlight. This ride will be 70+ kilometres and has a high degree of technical difficulty in sections, as a result it is really aimed at riders with at least an Intermediate level of skill and fitness. Where & When: Sunday the 22nd of September, we will ride from Mt Sugarloaf with an aim to finish at The Burwood Colliery Bowling Club at Dudley for a well earned beverage and lunch. Why not invite the family or the man or woman you're currently sharing dinner on the couch with to Join us? Transport: Riders will have to arrange their own transport to the start point and from the finish point (or ride home/back to Mt Sugarloaf) but we are happy to help arrange car pooling where possible. You will be notified of the official start point and time via email following registration. Equipment: It is extremely important that riders bikes are in excellent mechanical** order as this is a long ride. If its been four or more months since your last service we highly recommend booking your bike in prior to the ride for peace of mind. Feel free to contact the store on 0249242600 for any further questions or email Adam REGISTRATION FOR THIS RIDE ESSENTIAL Eventbrite - Loaf to Lagoon Social Adventure Subscribe to our Social Ride Mailing List to stay up to date on other events. *Any rider who turns up to the ride on a bike which is in obvious need of maintenance will be turned away, banished from the group, shunned by the masses and might even have their feelings hurt. Please be prepared.  ** Please note: Adam has no formal education in the field of History however he does have quite a flamboyant imagination which often proves more interesting than the truth anyway.
