Regular Shop Rides

We now have some regular rides happening through the week and on the weekend with a simple phone call 49242600, email or check on facebook to confirm the ride will be going ahead in the event that the weather is looking sour.

Currently the rides are as follows:

Tuesday Night Ride – MTB – Leaves 5:45pm from the Kotara Store which heads up into Glenrock. Recently we have been combining with the Newie Cogheads for the faster crowd and we also have a beginner group being led by Big Stu on board his Stumpjumper FSR Expert. Stu has recently converted 2 workmates to the mountain bike way of life and of course, he has them both riding stumpjumpers.

Saturday Morning MTB Ride – Our Saturday morning Mountain Bike ride is generally weather, trail condition and side of bed we get out of dependant  and a Glenrock Mountain Bike ride – This ride leaves at 7:15am from the Kotara Store. We will now be doing a shorter loop at the start for beginners followed by an extended loop for intermediate riders.

Maitland Saturday Morning Road Ride – We have a road ride which leaves at 6.30am from the carpark behind DRIFT BIKES MAITLAND. it is usually approximately 40km return and heads out through some beautiful rolling country side towards Paterson and back towards Morpeth then back to town. We average around 28-30kph but we will always wait at a few major turn offs if anyone gets left behind.

We will generally indicate on our FACEBOOK page on a friday afternoon of  cancellations or changes as early as possible. If in doubt? Write a post on there and ask us. Oh and…… if it’s raining, we don’t ride!
