Drift Bikes and Port Stephens Mountain Bike Tours will guide you through the opening stage of the Port to Port 2016 Four day stage race.
Meeting Time and Place: 7am Cnr of Victoria Parade and Shoal Bay Rd, Nelson Bay. This is just east of D'Albora Marinas, Nelson Bay.

It is not a particularly long ride and won't be a blisteringly fast pace but it is far from easy! With a few steep climbs and some sandy sections to test your strength, we recommend you bring your best set of legs!
A series of short steep climbs will sort out the pecking order ahead of the rocky and rutted Box Beach descent, followed by another tricky climb. A quick blast along the Marine Drive bike path will bring riders to Fingal Bay, where a lap of the area on the tarmac will provide some respite and some great views of the beautiful bay area before getting stuck into the offroad tracks in Tomaree National Park.
The ride is free but riders must sign a safety waiver at the meeting place prior to the rides departure.
